Peter Greene was “totally normal” during what may have been his last phone call before his shocking death this week. The “Pulp Fiction” actor and his longtime manager, Gregg Edwards, chatted on Wednesday — the same day neighbors said a nonstop loop of Christmas music began blasting from Greene’s Lower East Side home.

Code Pink stopped by Greene’s office to bid her farewell after her announcement last month that she is resigning from Congress.

The conservative firebrand, who is retiring from Congress early, and the president are engaged in bitter falling-out.

The character actor was best known for playing villains in movies like Pulp Fiction and The Mask. Greene was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday, his manager and friend told NPR.
