Thursday's incident came a day after a student was shot at Oakland's Skyline High School. The student is in stable condition. Police say they arrested two juveniles and recovered two firearms. Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee said she was “heartbroken” by “the second shooting on an Oakland campus in one week.”

Authorities arrested a suspect early Friday in the Laney College campus shooting of legendary Oakland football coach John Beam.

One student was shot at Oakland's Skyline High School, an official confirmed with ABC7. Police said two suspects are in custody.
