Injuries are always the worst part of an NFL season. For the Washington Commanders, major regression and injuries have ravaged a season where the hopes were high following last year's campaign. The Philadelphia Eagles have seen that firsthand as they also reside in the NFC East.

Kenny Pickett won a Super Bowl ring with the Philadelphia Eagles less than a year ago. On Sunday, he’s in line to start against his former team at Lincoln Financial Field. Pickett is expected to start in place of Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith, who is “unlikely” to play due to a shoulder injury, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.
