U.S. agents arrested more than 21,000 unauthorized immigrants in November as President Biden's term wound down — a pace the Trump administration doesn't appear to be matching in its first month despite its crackdown,

Two top immigration enforcement officials have been reassigned amid frustrations in the Trump administration about the pace of immigration arrests.

Agents have been out in force across the country, targeting illegal immigrants who are accused of other crimes.

Seven immigrants were arrested in Northern Virginia last week as a part of a massive crackdown on people present in the United States "illegally."

Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests of illegal immigrants have soared under the new administration compared to a similar period under former President Joe Biden last year.

Axios reported Friday that in the month of November 2024, former President Joe Biden "arrested 21,000 unauthorized immigrants." Since taking over on Jan. 20, 2025, President Donald Trump's office hasn't been able to reach those numbers "despite its crackdown.
