The team’s bold trade for Kevin Durant hours after Mat Ishbia gained control of the franchise has been an unmitigated disaster, and now the worst kept secret in the NBA is that Durant will again be on the trade block when this season mercifully ends for the Suns.

“The stakes are high. Unless there’s a significant run here into the playoffs for the Phoenix Suns, league sources believe that there will be real changes in Phoenix coming to the Suns. And from a roster standpoint, that likely starts with Kevin Durant,” ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania said during “NBA Countdown.”

Throughout his Boston Celtics career, Jaylen Brown has been floated in countless trade rumors. One of the more recent rumors was when Kevin Durant was looking for an exit route from the Brooklyn Nets in 2023.
