NEW YORK CITY, New York — Time magazine has named a collective rather than a person as its 2025 Person of the Year, selecting what it calls the “Architects of AI,” a group of innovators in artificial intelligence credited with reshaping global technology and society over the past 12 months.

Today, TIME reveals the third annual TIME100 AI list, recognizing the 100 most influential people in artificial intelligence. The 2025 TIME100 AI issue includes a worldwide cover, featuring a photo illustration by artist and list-maker Refik Anadol.
