During President Donald Trump’s first week in office, he signed 10 executive orders on immigration and issued a slew of edicts to carry out promises of mass deportations and border security. Some actions were felt immediately and others are being challenged in court.

With half of farmworkers consisting of undocumented migrants, the Trump immigration crackdown could lead to labor shortages, disrupted food supply and increased prices.

Trump is fighting back with some lawsuits of his own on the critical issue of illegal immigration. In the past week, the Justice Department has filed suits against the city of Chicago and the state of Illinois and also against the state of New York and Gov.
