Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) told SiriusXM host Stephen A. Smith that he would support former Vice President Kamala Harris over Gov. Gavin Newsom in the 2028 Democratic presidential primary, calling Harris "deeply authentic" and someone who understands the Democratic Party’s broad coalition.

"I am a historic figure like any vice president of the United States ever was," Harris recently told The New York Times.
