The Boston Bruins’$2 6-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild Sunday isn’t worth panicking over given that they had already won their first two games on this road trip. But, there were a couple issues that bubbled up to the surface that are worth noting.
The Bruins will have an unexpected new challenge when they face the Minnesota Wild on Sunday in St. Paul. The Wild acquired Quinn Hughes from the Vancouver Canucks on Friday evening according to ESPN. The Canucks’ disappointing start had created considerable rumors that Hughes, the 26-year-old former Norris Trophy winner, could get dealt.

Gonzaga is full of talent, and it will be up to Bilodeau to match that with his scoring ability. Bilodeau also needs to step up in the rebounding department as the third-highest rebounder on the Bruins, with 4.7 a game.
The Bruins just got Charlie McAvoy back in the lineup, but the team suffered a couple more injuries in a 6-3 win over the Jets on Thursday.
Marat Khusnutdinov is back in Minnesota for the first time since getting traded to Boston in March. The 23-year-old forward was a second-round pick for the Wild in the 2020 NHL Draft, and he played a cumulative 73 games for the team over two seasons.
