Yuki Tsunoda has opened up on a message he received from ousted Red Bull team principal Christian Horner ahead of the race at Spa.

Tsunoda has struggled to score points since joining Red Bull at round three of the F1 2025 championship, the Japanese Grand Prix, bringing in just seven in his 10 starts. That’s well down on the 129 his team-mate Max Verstappen scored in the same period.

The dismissal of Christian Horner also came as a big shock to Red Bull Racing's Chief Engineer, Paul Monaghan. The Briton told GPblog among others how the team now hopes to respond. The Belgian Grand Prix is the first GP in Red Bull Racing history without Christian Horner as team principal of the Austrian racing stable.
