To the surprise of nobody, the New Orleans Pelicans fired head coach Willie Green. The Pelicans' season has been nothing short of a disaster. They are currently last in the West with a 2-10 record. On top of all this, they don't own their first-round pick this year due to a foolish offseason trade.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - James Borrego said he was both saddened and grateful Saturday (Nov. 15), after being elevated from an assistant role to that of the New Orleans Pelicans’ interim head coach.

James Borrego has been named the interim head coach of the Pelicans. He will make his debut on Sunday against Golden State.
