Although it's not even Thanksgiving yet, the New York Jets are being accused of tanking for a better draft pick. Prior to the trade deadline last Tuesday, the Jets traded All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts for a pair of first-round picks and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell.
Mitchell had caught just 32 of his 71 targets, 45.1%, entering Thursday's game. Only Marquez Valdes-Scandling is lower at 44.2% among players with at least 50 targets the last two seasons; the third-worst rate is 49.1%.
