J.J. McCarthy being back on the injury report is the last thing Vikings fans wanted to see this week. But there he is, listed as limited in Wednesday's practice due to a right hand injury.
As he reflected on the sequence from last weekend that led to the right hand injury, McCarthy confirmed that it occurred with the Vikings trying to mount a comeback in what ended up being a 27-19 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

McCarthy has no injury designation on the team’s final injury report ahead of Week 11. Sunday’s game will be McCarthy’s third since returning from an ankle injury that kept him out of five games.
The most damning statistic for McCarthy is that he has only been on target on 58.1% of his pass attempts. That’s by far the lowest rate in the NFL. It looks even worse when considering the league average for on-target percentage is 74.7%.
