The Athletics organization held a groundbreaking ceremony Monday, June 23 for its new $1.75 billion stadium in Las Vegas.

The Athletics officially broke ground for their new stadium in Las Vegas, which will be located at the site of the former Tropicana hotel. A’s owner John Fisher, manager Mark Kotsay, Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers and MLB commissioner Rob Manfred were among those in attendance for Monday’s ceremony.
