As Laredo gets ready to celebrate Independence Day, several events have been announced across the city to mark the Fourth of July.

Since the program’s inception in 2008, the Laredo Sector Border Patrol’s “Texas Hold’em” initiative has canceled over 1,000 Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs).

The public is invited to attend Opera on the Border, a special performance celebrating music and community unity.
