At least 20 people have been killed and 52 more are injured in a “terrorist attack” on a church in the Syrian capital on Sunday, according to the country’s health ministry.

State media says a suicide bomber in Syria attacked a church filled with people near Damascus, the capital, killing at least 22 people and wounding 63.

A suicide bomber opened fire then detonated an explosive vest inside a Greek Orthodox church in Syria during Sunday mass. As many as 22 worshippers have been killed and another 63 injured in the ‘terrorist attack’ in Damascus.
