Masters champion Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry were the headliners, but come Sunday afternoon the story was Ben Griffin and Andrew Novak, finally becoming first-time winners on the PGA Tour. They took a three-shot lead into Sunday and held on to win by one after shooting 71 in the stressful final-round alternate-shot format.

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans offers a $9.2 million purse. Both members of the winning team will earn $1,329,400. If a team finishes solo second, both players will receive $818,800.
