For some COVID provided more time to write trip reports, unfortunately for me it created more work trying to work out new logistics to continue to provide essential services while minimizing risk...long story short, I haven't had too much spare time and I am late writing this report.

Dec 27, 2024 · Trip Report - Lake St. Joseph Canada. Just missed you in October Franco and wish we could have met up. When we left we were the only ones in camp but then owners had some friends coming in that day to visit.

Dec 31, 2024 · Scott Lake Lodge Canada. In my experience extremely pricey places are more about the quality of the booze/wine and comfort of the guests verses the fishing as the fishermen aren’t really very serious although they proclaim to be.

Jun 11, 2023 · Eagle Lake Canada. Fished at Southshore Lodge on Eagle from June 3-10. Special thanks to Prov1800 as John pointed me in the right direction and he was spot on with his recommendations and a great help.

Mar 13, 2024 · (1) it has a label stating it has been approved by Transport Canada, the Canadian Coast Guard, or Fisheries and Oceans Canada; or (2) it has been purchased new within the last year, give or take, and thus labeled under the new harmonized standards approved by both the US and Canada. Those newer vests are labeled Level 70, 100, 150, etc.
