The 2023 Illinois State Fair runs from August 10th through August 20th. The Fairgrounds are open from 7 a.m. to Midnight for the duration of the Fair. The Fair Administration Office is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the fair.

Find the time and location of the various grounds entertainment around the fairgrounds. Harness Racing The Illinois racetrack, known as one of the fastest dirt tracks in the world, hosts a large venue of great horse racing at this year's fair.

Illinois State Fair Grandstand Admission is NOT included in price of a Grandstand Ticket. Children 3 and older are required to have a ticket to attend any Grandstand concert.

Welcome to the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Our 366-acre campus is home to hundreds of events year-round. Our campground is open to the public from April - October 31st. To inquire about campground vacancies and availability, please contact our Non-Fair events office.

The fairgrounds is located 2 miles from Interstate I-55′s Sangamon Ave exit (exit 100 B).
