Francisco Muniz IV (/ ˈ m j uː n ɪ z /; [1] born December 5, 1985) is an American professional stock car racing driver and actor. Muniz came to prominence in the 2000s playing the title character of the Fox sitcom Malcolm in the Middle (2000–2006), for which he was nominated for an Emmy and two Golden Globe Awards .
