The Folly Beach Pier Replacement project which commenced on Oct. 19 has made significant progress to date primarily to the apron area, the widened portion of the pier that abuts the restaurant and the gift shop. Progress to date includes: installation of all concrete piles, concrete pile caps, concrete beams and concrete bollards for the first 150’ of pier.
