Not matching is one of the most painful, humbling experiences, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. It makes you feel like all your hard work wasn't enough, and I kept replaying everything in my head wondering what I could have done differently. But I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, even when it doesn't feel like it in the moment. You can still end up exactly where you're meant to be, even if the path looks different than you planned. This past year did not look like I planned
