What started as a usual day of fishing along the East Coast, ended in devastation for the Nurses and Bournes, one of the oldest fishing families in the Silver Sands, Christ Church community. Their boats, Ken and Vita became beached at Crane, and then were destroyed by the waves. Only a few things on the boats were salvageable and damage is estimated to exceed $100 000.
