📼 1958 MACKAY FLOODS 📼 We found this footage in the ABC archives. It shows the Pioneer River in full flood and the damaged Forgan Bridge after the devastating floods of February 17, 1958. Four people died and the suburb of Foulden was wiped out after record-breaking rainfall. Rain gauges overflowed as over 20 homes were washed away and bridges were damaged and destroyed.
