This sweet girl is called Matilda, and she's an eastern broad-nosed microbat. She ended up in an office and couldn’t find her way out. She wasn’t discovered for a couple of days. The terrific vet team at RSPCA QLD gave her a check over, found her to be dehydrated but otherwise uninjured, so entrusted her to us for a bit of R&R at the mealworm palace, after which she was successfully released back to her home colony. This is important as microbats must be released close to their home territories
