Latinos & Caribbeans did not create Hip Hop or breaking. Our patterns didn’t start with breakdancing it was passed down from the 1920s, the 1930s, the Harlem Renaissance & beyond. The rhythm, the athleticism, the movement was already there. Breaking & Hip Hop is Black American culture born, bred, and built in America. I’m gonna keep reminding everyone because too many ppl want to claim it without giving credit. Contributions were made to an already existing culture. (Foundational Black American)
