I meet up with my friend Ryan Nitz to fish the backcountry mangroves for giant snook using topwater lures. We started sight casting these giant fish with live mullet. The fish were aggressively feeding on the surface! After hooking a few with live bait, we decided to switch to topwater lures. The first snook Ryan pitched at destroyed the lure, and from then on the rest of the day was incredible!
