Reaching 8,700 acres on October 18, the CalWood Fire is officially the largest wildfire in the history of Boulder County, Colorado. More than 2 dozen homes have been destroyed and thousands of people have been evacuated as a result of blaze. Local officials have declared a state of emergency in the area.
