Brenner Base Tunnel, the world’s longest railway tunnel! The Tunnel will connect Fortezza, on the Italian side about 50 kilometres north of Bolzano, to Innsbruck in Austria. Along its route, passenger trains will be able to travel at speeds of up to 250 km/h, cutting travel time between the two cities from 80 minutes to just 25.
