Citizens Police Academy Goes VR! Our Citizens Police Academy class stepped into the world of virtual policing this week! Participants strapped on our Apex Officer VR systems and got a firsthand experience of the challenges and split-second decisions officers face every day. They put their skills to the test in a variety of scenarios, including: • Situational awareness during a traffic stop. • Navigating a hostage situation. • Managing intoxicated pedestrians. • De-escalating mental health calls.
